I'm a U.S. Army officer who's been serving for 17 years and plans to hang it up around 2030 so I can go all in on the thing I've loved since I was a kid. My wife and three kids game with me, and we all stay active with running, lifting, and sports, because a healthy mix of both just works for us. The name Riccua comes from my parents: "Ric" from Boricua and "Cua" from Ecuador. My brother made it up years ago (I was Riccua25, he was Riccua31). I kept it.

I first touched a TurboGrafx-16, but I really started on the Super Nintendo with Street Fighter, Star Fox, F-Zero, Pilotwings, and Super Mario. We never really had an NES. Then came the N64, and I lived on it: Turok, GoldenEye, WCW/nWo, but mostly WrestleMania 2000 (still my favorite) and No Mercy. I'd create matches, write stories, and even made characters like DMX and Drag-On. One time my brother and I ran Madden 2001 for 24 hours straight. I also played basketball my freshman and sophomore years of high school and led my team to the DoDEA Division II finals, earning honorable mention all-conference. That competitive edge is still there, just settled down over the years. Junior year I got a job instead of playing, and the first thing I bought with my own money was a PlayStation 2. Everything changed. Xbox 360 and Halo came next. I hit Level 46 and was the number one ranked Wheelman in Virginia. That's also where I met one of my best friends in 2005. We've still never met in person. Crazy, huh? His GT is RAMxxROD. You may see him in some of the games I play. College football has always been a huge part of my gaming history, and I run a 20 player online dynasty now. I played the college basketball games too, and I'm hoping those come back as well.

I've been hooked for well over 30 years. I never thought I could actually make a living at this. After the Army, that's the plan. I try games and tell you what I actually think, even when I'm wrong or change my mind later. The schedule won't always be perfect, but the videos will keep coming. Once I go full time after retirement, the schedule will be tight, and you should expect a lot of early access game reviews plus others, along with live streams and exclusive member only live streams.
